Snuba dive for $59 per person.

Snuba diving is the next step for those seeking to explore Cozumel's underwater world up-close and personal. Snuba enables you to dive up to 20 feet below the surface and see sights that are well beyond the range of snorkelers. You'll also have access to lockers, changing facilities, bathrooms, showers, and beach lounges to make your day both fun and convenient. Accompanying non-divers are welcome as well.

If you're new to Snuba diving, Cozumel is an ideal location to get started. Our tours are conducted from Cozumel's finest beaches. With our professional guides at your side, you'll explore the island's rich marine life along the coastline without the need to venture far from shore.

Snuba diving offers many of the rewards of scuba diving, but without the bulky equipment, steep learning curve, and certification requirements. In fact, most people find Snuba easier than snorkeling (learn more about Snuba diving). With Snuba, your air supply floats on the surface of the water. Each diver is connected to the air supply through a flexible, lightweight hose.

Our guides will make your transition to Snuba especially smooth. You will begin with a brief lesson that will introduce you to the key safety rules of diving and basic underwater communication signals. They will then help you put on your gear and lead you through a practice session before accompanying you into the water. After a few more minutes of practicing at the surface, you’ll soon be ready to explore Cozumel’s abundant marine life. Your Snuba guide will be close by at all times during your dive. (Children should be at least 8 years old to participate in Snuba.) One of our professional guides is assigned to supervise no more than four Snuba divers.

Snuba diving is available at two locations, depending on your preferences.

Jeanie's Restaurant and Beach Club is located near downtown San Miguel, within walking distance of the Punta Langosta cruise ship terminal. Overlooking one of Cozumel's finest beaches, Jeanie's is a well-established Cozumel landmark with a reputation for fresh seafood, Mexican specialties, and the best waffles on the island. The beachfront view is an ideal spot to enjoy a cool one after your Snuba adventure. (Observers are also welcome to relax at the restaurant at no charge.) Snuba participants are entitled to a 10 percent discount on food and drink.

Chankanaab Park is one of Cozumel's premier destinations for visitors seeking a full exposure to Cozumel's attractions. Admission to the park is $19 for adults and $10 for children ages 3 to 11. (After paying the entrance fee, observers are entitled to take full advantage of the park's facilities.) After Snuba diving, guests are welcome to enjoy the beautiful beach and a performance showcasing Cozumel's Mayan cultural legacy. Sea Trek, swimming with dolphins, and scuba diving are also available at an additional charge.

Tour times: Please click our tour schedule calendar (see the link to the right) to find a date and time that fits your plans. Please note that the times listed are in local Cozumel time. Cruise ship passengers may be on a different time zone when they arrive in Cozumel. To avoid confusion, please read about the difference between cruise ship time and Cozumel time.
